We spend 2 weeks traveling around Scotland and it was absolutely magical. We enjoyed Andy's motorhome and it was a great travel buddy for our family of 3. We loved all the space it provided us for maximum comfort and an additional sofa/bed was such a nice addition after long walks and sightseeings.
It is a bit unreliable at times as it doesn't alway start on the first try but we didn't mind it as much as we knew we were getting an older vehicle. With that said there were a few "surprises" regarding what works and what is damaged so I would suggest mentioning those in the description. The motorhome was clean and the sheets smelled so nice and we received it in a relatively ok state with some maintenance, repairs or deep cleaning much needed in the bathroom mainly.
We loved spending our time in Scotland with Andy's Big Bertha and she was able to take us all around the NC500, the Highlands, Isle of Skye and we even headed out to the Hebrides via ferry with her. One of our most memorable trips as a family of 3 so far.

We have spent 5 fantastic nights at the Big Bertha. This motorhome has a good engine and few kilometers. Perhaps it would need a little maintenance in a closet or door lock but in general it is well preserved for its age. The advertiser provided us with clear instructions for use and even supported them with a video that helped us handle it. Recommended experience!

We had a great time with "Big Bertha". Not the newest campervan, but clean and functioning. It had all we needed. Andrew had made some very helpful videos that we could use when having questions about the vehicle.

Andy was a great host! He took his time to show us around the van and was very trustworthy. He was flexible in pick-up and drop-off time because there weren't any other renters. The van isn't brand new but everything still works great!
